Getting in Front of the Camera

I have made a decision to actively try and take more pictures of the people in my life. And the things we do. This decision is thanks to Abigail, who persuaded me to bring my big camera to the gun range yesterday. I'm so glad I did. I even let Abigail take some pictures of me. And I made sure to get a picture of my dad! He's at the bottom of this post. 
I decided that no matter how fat I feel, I will cherish these memories someday, and if I don't get pictures of myself, I may regret it. I will be making my camera a bigger part of my life. I want to start having these images all around my home! So I need more :)
Let's all give a round of applause to Abigail, who can focus my camera very well for a beginner. :)

Inspiration: Minimalist Marvel

When I was a kid, I had a massive comic book collection. Well, my dad did, and he bequeathed it to me and my brother.  
Ever since then, I have LOVED comic book characters.
(I mean, hello, my cat's name is Loki, afterall.)
So when I ran across these minimalist Marvel posters, I couldn't wait to share them with you! Minimalism just speaks to me. Uncluttered. I love it.

Can you guess who the posters are depicting? The ones I chose to share aren't very hard.

The artist is Marko Manev. You can find him on Behance, where he has numerous other minimalist artwork. 
One day I hope to create artwork like this. It's good to have goals, right?!

My weekend plans are to clean my house (not likely), do homework (it's a possibility), and veg out and relax in my big, comfortable bed (you can count on it!). My favorite part of the weekend is sleeping in with my guy and just relaxing!
